Meka spent awhile figuring me out when I arrived for her newborn session. When she fell asleep, I took that to mean that I had her seal of approval to continue with her photos as planned! Lots of snuggles and a warm room helped her settle in and she was the perfect little model for these vintage pants I received as a prop from a new vendor!
We created some amazing memories with Maxton’s session that his family is sure to cherish forever. He was an absolutely perfect bundle of joy and was so, so very sleepy. He might not look it, but this wee one was a teenie tiny peanut! Mommy had requested a Very Hungry Caterpillar theme for this session, which we posted on our Facebook page. Head on over and check it out!
After an incredibly traumatic birth experience, little Jevon only wanted to be with Mommy when I arrived for his newborn session. We did however manage to get a few gems despite the fact that he would only really sleep if he was on his Momma. This adorable herringbone set is from one of my new vendors. I am so excited to start working more with them soon!
I have had so many fans and clients ask about the little hat that Reed wore for his newborn session. Truth be told, it actually isn’t one of mine! Reed’s Grandmother had this hat made for him. I’ve asked if this anonymous, but talented acquaintance would be willing to make a few more, but it looks like this was a favor for a friend and not a new business in the making. Darn!
When she was seven days new, Taylor came to visit me at my studio. She might be little, but this pint sized princess knows what she likes! She likes milk, her binkie and sleep! Lots of sleep. I think I saw the whites of her eyes only once. Otherwise, she was totally content to snooze through her session.
