When I first met with Caleb & Olivia’s parents to plan their newborn session, they were both so nervous and excited to meet their little ones! As first time parents, they had no idea what to expect with one, let alone two little babies! I was so amazed that their Mom and Dad were like old pros with these two kiddos! I can’t wait to watch these little ones grow. Congratulations D Family!
Olivia was a newborn photographer‘s dream. She was sound asleep when I arrived for her session and she stayed that way right up until she was done. She was however, only half of my work for the day!
Here’s Olivia’s brother, Caleb. Now he might look really peaceful and sound asleep here, but for the duration of his session, he decided that he’d much rather hang out with us than sleep. In fact, when placed next to his sister, he decided that sucking on her arm would be a good way to wake Olivia up.
Look at those squishy little cheeks and those tiny little baby rolls! I could just eat her up.
Oh, some sweet Caleb smiles. What a sweet boy. You can tell just how loved these little ones are already.
Think Nike will sponsor me now that I’ve provided them with free advertising in the form of a cuteness overload? A girl can dream, can’t she?
The golf visor is from one of my vendors and sweet friend Summer over at Loopsy Daisy. Go like her Facebook page, she rocks!
Oh sweet, sweet little Jordin, you are so loved. I remember when I first met Jordin’s Mommy. We chatted together so easily and she was over the moon about becoming a Mom for the first time, being pregnant at the same time as her sister and of course, Jordin’s newborn session. Capturing the first few days of your baby’s life is an investment that you enjoy for days, months and years to come. Passing these memories, frozen in time, is such a gift. I feel so blessed to be able to do what I love.
Even when Jordin yawns, she’s adorable. She was an amazing little model and we barely heard a peep out of her.
Even when she decided she wasn’t going to sleep.
Don’t worry, she was back in dreamland before you could say “baby feet”
She gets those beautiful little features from her Momma. Isn’t she gorgeous?
Is there anything sweeter than baby feet?
Oh yes, a smiley baby.
Sometimes, being a professional photographer gives you an amazing workout. This session was honestly like hot yoga. When we set the date for Jack and Luke’s session, we did not expect it to be 90+ degrees outside, especially not at 7pm.
The image above was probably one of the only ones I got of the boys together where their backs weren’t turned to me. Truth be told, these 1.5 year old twin boys certainly gave me a run for my money.
It took three of us (Mom, Dad and Me) to wrangle these two. I have so, so much respect for parents of twins! I was so surprised at how well the boys did considering the weather we had!
Oh Jack, that sweet little grin melts my heart. However, my favorite thing about this shot is actually his brother in the background. Daddy is holding him upside down! The expression on his face is priceless!
Being a Superhero is pretty serious stuff.
And sometimes, just sometimes, all Superheroes need a break.
Oh Bradley, this photographer is in love with you, little one.
The first time I met this little man, he was only 3 months old. Can you believe that?
Now he’s not only crawling, but he’s pulling himself up on things and trying to walk.
How do they get so big, so fast?
See what I mean?
I can’t wait to see this babe and his beautiful momma again for a cake smash this fall!
Because this isn’t the most hilarious face you’ve ever seen on a kid…
Hey Portland! Looking for a fun, fantastic way to update your family photographs? Well, my Summer Minis are the perfect opportunity for you to do just that. This year, for a bit of a twist, we will be having three different themes, eeeeeeek!!!
I won’t give it all away, but I will tell you that we will be having a lemonade stand! Location will be in Wilsonville, Oregon and details will be provided at the time of booking. The weather will be fantastic, we will have refreshments for you and the kiddos, so sit back, relax, and let me do all of the work!
Dates are August 3rd and 4th starting at 4:00pm. I’m booking every half hour (minis are 15-20 minutes, which gives me a bit of a breather in between!) and the last session is booked at 7:30pm. That’s only 16 spots (but 3 are already gone even as I post this…)!
You will receive a themed 15-20 minute session, one watermarked digital image that is Facebook ready, 10 hand edited images in an online gallery, one 8×10 print and four 5×7 prints. The $150 session fee must be paid at the time of booking.
