The Hat

Crochet Hat

This is what happens when you’ve been asking a 5-year-old to sit still for the camera for far too long.

Honestly, our kids get so tired of being in front of the camera sometimes, but shots like this make me love what I do that much more.

I was never a big fan of posed shots and have always been in favor of a more natural, candid picture.  Those small moments in between asking kids to cheese (or not to cheese) and having them blow bubbles in a giant grassy field always somehow end up being the best shots.

She loves dancing.  Even when there’s no music for her to dance to.  She no longer walks around the house, she skips around the house.  I hope she never grows out of the skipping.
